At Street Property Management we understand that property, like any investment, is only as good as its net annual return and capital appreciation.

Our services take in every aspect of maximising the performance of your property and minimising hassle and risk for you by having meticulous processes in place. Our objective is to ensure properties are maintained at optimum condition and presentation at a reasonable cost and to select suitable tenants while achieving competitive market rental.

We offer reassuring support and communication along every step of your journey. You will be kept updated on the state of your property, with regular photos and reports. Your tenants will love the service they receive too, helping keep good tenants longer. We strive to provide a high quality service to our customers at all times.

Our approach to managing every property is as individual as you are and throughout you will deal with only one person - your agent, the agent that you signed with.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often are inspections carried out?
Routine inspections of the property are carried out eight weeks after the tenancy has commenced and then every six months thereafter. Owners receive a copy of all reports and your property manager will communicate any concerns they may have with you. We encourage owners to view their property at least once a year – this should be arranged with your property manager.

Should I consider allowing pets?
The majority of pet owners are responsible and will look after your property as if it is their own. When the tenant signs the lease there is a pet clause that outlines their responsibilities of having a pet at the property during the tenancy and when vacating the tenancy.

Do I need smoke alarms fitted in my property?
All rental properties need to comply with smoke alarm regulations. We can arrange professional installation, inspection and maintenance by a smoke alarm provider for an annual fee.

Is there anything to consider if my property has a swimming pool?
If your property has a swimming pool or spa then a copy of a valid Certificate of Compliance issued in the past three years is required.  This must be done prior to any lease or renewal being signed.

What options do I have when maintenance or repairs are needed?
We can arrange all maintenance and repairs to be carried out on your behalf should you prefer. We do not charge extra for this service, it is included in our management fee.

Do I need insurance?
We strongly recommend that you have landlord insurance in addition to building insurance. This covers you for tenant-related risks, including loss of rental income and loss or damage to your contents and building by the tenant.

Our agents are committed to protecting your investment and we work hard to ensure your property is both tenanted and well maintained.
